Helping orphans in Poltava, Ukraine

Dear Parents,

We received a letter from Diya Zahurska.

She is a nun and used to work at St. George Church.

Now she works with orphans and disable kids in the monastery in Poltava, Ukraine.

She is asking for the clothes, shoes and supplies for:

6 boys – 7-9 years old

5 boys – 12-14 years old

8 girls – 6-10 years old

4 girls – 11-14 years old

8 kids – 3-4 years old

Supplies:

– anything that develops hands’ motor skills (clay, soft geometrical figures, etc.)

– books that develop critical thinking and creative skills (Ukr or Eng languages)

– plastic or rubber toy animals

– Lego or similar toys

Cut-outs are the only activity that sister Diya can do with the kids right now – due to the lack of money.

PLEASE BRING CLOTHES AND TOYS TO CYM UKRAINIAN SCHOOL. Deadline – Saturday April 6.

St. George Church representatives will pick them up and ship to Ukraine.

Thank you for being kind!!!

Sincerely,

CYM Ukrainian School Principal
